PETA is seemingly holding onto their grudge against Pete Davidson as the organization is now selling Halloween costumes inspired by his explicit voicemail.
“It’s too late for Pete to undo his puppy purchase or that voicemail, but it’s never too late to save a dog’s life by choosing adoption and shunning pet shops and other dog breeders,” PETA, or People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, President Ingrid Newkirk said in a statement Wednesday.
The costume, which features a paper mask printed with the comedian’s face and a blue baseball cap with “#$@!%” printed on the front, was inspired by Davidson’s angry voicemail to the animal rights nonprofit.
Page Six has reached out to Davidson’s rep but did not immediately hear back.
In June. the “Saturday Night Live” alum, who was called out by PETA for buying a dog instead of opting to adopt, told PETA’s senior VP of cruelty investigations, Daphna Nachminovitch, “F–k you and suck my d–k,” in response to their public shaming.

“My mom’s f–king dog who is 2 years old died a week before, so we’re all so sad, so I had to get a specific dog,” he added in the voicemail, explaining that the cava-poo breed the “Bodies Bodies Bodies” star purchased was actually for his mother.
Davidson, 29, also explained that he had to get a certain type of breed because he is “severely allergic to dogs.”
“So why don’t you do your research before you f–king create news stories for people because you’re boring,” he shouted.
PETA’s costume also includes a hoodie that reads, “I Should’ve Adopted,” and a plush dog — with a similar golden cava-poo colored fur — wearing a bandana with “Shelter Dogs Rule” printed on the front.
“PETA trusts that the ‘King of Staten Island’ will see the joke in having everyone dress like him this Halloween, all for a good cause: fixing homeless-animal overpopulation,” Newkirk added.
While Davidson’s expletive-filled voicemail was teeming with anger, the comedian eventually softened his tone.
Speaking with TMZ, the “Bupkis” star said that the emotional message came about due to the grief he and his family were experiencing from the loss of their previous pup, Henry.
“I haven’t seen my mom and sister cry like that in over 20 years. I was trying to cheer up my family. I was already upset that the store had filmed me without my permission or acknowledgment,” Davidson said, referring to the pet store Citipups, where he and ex-girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders purchased the dog.
“Then this organization (PETA) made a public example of us, making our grieving situation worse. I am upset. It was a poor choice of words,” he added.
“I shouldn’t have said what I said, but I am not sorry for standing up for myself and my family.”
