Tamar Braxton’s ‘Queens Court’ fiancé, Jeremy ‘JR’ Robinson, ends engagement to ‘be a better person’

Tamar Braxton’s fiancé announced Monday that he ended their engagement so he could become “a better person.”

“Queens Court” contestant Jeremy “JR” Robinson denied cheating on the “All the Way Home” singer and insisted they will “be friends and family for life” despite their breakup.

“Tamar and I are no longer together. I ended the relationship to focus on getting back to positive energy & being a better person,” he wrote on his Instagram Story.

“What happened and why – that’s our private place. No, I never cheated. No, I wasn’t there when she was at her mothers [sic] place when her car was burglarized.”

The personal injury attorney insisted he “never cared about fame” despite appearing on the Peacock reality dating show, which he claimed to have turned down “several times” before ultimately caving in.

“I can’t believe I found what I was looking for,” she said at the time.

The now-former couple hit a rocky road shortly thereafter when one of the mothers of some of Robinson’s children accused Braxton of causing “nothing but chaos.”

“My son does not mean ‘everything’ to her and she has not thanked God for me & truthfully, none of his baby mamas,” Anaston Jeni wrote on social media, adding that the “Changed” songstress has said “demeaning, disrespectful, & outrageous things” about how she co-parents with Robinson.

The JR Law Group founder quickly came to his then-fiancée’s defense, saying she had been “an amazing mother” who “spoiled [his] children with love.”

Before saying “yes” to Robinson, Braxton dated entrepreneur David Adefeso.

However, the former couple had a tumultuous split in 2020 after two years of dating.
